The mission of the Youth Council is to stimulate an interest among young people in the New Brunswick co-operative movement through education and awareness. It is a partner of UNI Financial Cooperation and CDR-Acadie in local development in Atlantic Canada.
The Youth Council aims to create a collective entrepreneurial youth by joining young leaders and demonstrating the value of commitment.
The values of the Youth Council are autonomy and independence as well as collective entrepreneurship. The values of the co-operative movement are also supported, namely: mutual aid, responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity. He defends ethical values such as honesty, openness, social responsibility and concern for others.
The Youth Council is made up of 6 members from across the province.
